I was diagnosed with Charcot Marie Tooth back in 2014 in my late 30s. I was in shock. I have bilateral footdrop. I got my first pair of real footbraces in 2015. I hated them. I could only we wear one pair of sneakers. I enjoy physical fitness activities and have done a couple fitness bootcamps and crossfit. Iam currently a gym rat. I drive with hand controls. I pretty much live like McGyver trying to modify everything so can get everything done from fitness to home chores and grocery shopping. One thing I've learned is that everything can be tailored to one's physical capabilities.
