My Story
Due to an accident, my achilleas tendon became de-attached from my heal bone on April 4th of 2020, the reattachment surgery failed, and several surgeries later, I have been left with no achilleas tendon. I was confined to a Rollator for a year and half, which was very disheartening as I have always been a very active person, which included running, biking, sailboat racing and other outdoor activities. I started using the Blue Rocker 2.0 in Mid-August of 2021 and with the Rollator. In November, I learn how walk, climb and descend stairs with and without a cane in PT. There were set backs along the way and it was a lot of hard work, but I am happy say that I am getting some resemblance the life I had. Everyday has its own challenges, but I am continuing to work hard towards getting back into the activities that I did before the injury.
