I was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 19. I am now 36 years old and due to the deseas I developed drop foot in both feet and nerve damage in both legs and hands. It has been extremely difficult for me watching my friends I grew up wth live normal lives . I look at my sins who are 11year old twin boys and I hate the fact that I can’t be the physically active dad that I want to be. It has also impacted my relationship with my wife and we are working hard to keep it alive.
