My Story
My story starts July 12 1983 I was injured in an oilfield accident. 3800 lbs pressure came from a well head and blew me 100 ft from where I was standing. A miracle I survived. Off work 3 years with several surgeries. My right leg suffered the worst injury with nerve damage which left me with drop foot. I was told my ortho Dr. I would be in a wheelchair by age 55. I am 66. I was able to go back to school and obtained my RN degree in 1990 and continue to work as a Cardiac Nurse. I ride my bike, hike and enjoy the outdoors. Looking forward to changing my current brace to an allard toe off.
