I served 27 years in the Army and was severely wounded by a rocket blast in Afghanistan which left me with a traumatic brain injury, 99% hearing loss, skeleton issues and superficial wounds. After my rehabilitation I found being outside engaged in sports and others was the best medicine for my recovery both physically and mentally. I have run over 20 marathons, done several long cross state bike rides. Last year with my Team UNBROKEN I competed in the World's Toughest Race which is on Amazon Prime right now. We were one if the ten featured teams. I continue to focus on a healthy lifestyle and have found new purpose and passion in life.
