I was born at 24 weeks and struggled with what doctors believed was idiopathic toe walking for my entire life. After wearing leg braces for two years as a child and doing physical therapy for six years unsuccessfully, I was finally referred to doctors at Boston Children's Hospital who diagnosed me with Cerebral Palsy when I was 23. I had a muscle lengthening surgery and wore traditional leg braces for three months, but they caused blistering and heat rashes. Thankfully, I am adjusting well to my Allard Blue Rocker 2 1/2 AFOs! I am a college graduate with Bachelor's degrees in English and Theater Arts with a concentration in Acting and I will be earning my MFA in Screen Acting in 2023! I enjoy performing in plays and musicals and a couple of my favorite things are Taylor Swift and Marvel movies!
